If you're in the mood for some mouth-watering Peruvian food, Mr. Pollo is the place to be. Their roasted chicken is a must-try--tender, juicy, and full of flavor, paired perfectly with their rice and crispy French fries. The Lomo Saltado is another standout dish, packed with bold flavors that will leave you craving more. What really sets Mr. Pollo apart are the red and green salsas. Pour them over the rice, and you've got the perfect balance of flavor and heat in every bite. It's no wonder this place is always packed. The space might be small, but the team does an amazing job getting your food out quickly despite the rush. Pro tip: I always see people leaving with bags of food, so if you're planning to dine here, I highly recommend calling in your order ahead of time. The wait can sometimes be up to 40 minutes, but trust me, it's worth every second.

Love this place so much. Small chickens, slow rotisserie cooked, fantastic flavors. The same cost as a fast food meal these days but for three times (3x) the amount, the quality, and flavor. Fun little humble restaurant. Orders usually take longer on the weekends (oftentimes over 30 mins bc good things take time) when they're the busiest. Truly a gem. Winning order is Pollo Saltado with chimichurri and green sauce. Thank you Mr Pollo for delivering such awesome food and service year after year!!

This is my favorite restaurant for Lomo Saltado. Been servicing this community for many years. They're usually very busy during mealtime and the staff works hard to keep things moving.

Lomo Saltado [8/10]: The dish very flavorful! The beef was slightly dry but still tender and enjoyable. The fries tasted fresh. Overall pretty satisfied with it. Inside was very clean and had good amounts of tables and seating. Workers were friendly.

Mr. Pollo -- I've become dangerously addicted to their Lomo Saltado and chimichurri. The last time I had Mr. Pollo, before recently, was around 6-7 years ago and that was only because I moved out of West Covina. I had it a few weeks ago again due to my cousin recently moving nearby, and, my goodness, it is still as delicious as before. My only complaint about the Lomo Saltado is that there wasn't enough. I've tried to recreate the chimichurri and have not been successful at it. I usually do take out and they're super fast getting the order ready, even when it's a big one. They're also super friendly and offered help to take my big order to my car. It's easy to miss it since it's a smaller, hole-in-the-wall restaurant. It reminds me of the smaller mom and pop restaurants in Venezuela.

We're so glad to try this place! The restaurant has the atmosphere like a fast food type. Very friendly service! We got half rotisserie chicken with salad and French fries, and Tallarin Saltado with beef. They are very delicious! The chicken is so tender and don't forget the green and red sauce! Excited to try other dishes from the menu.

Rating: 7/10 Good food option if you are in the area and are looking for a safe option to eat. Not too bad but not the best Peruvian I've ever had. My sister, bf, and I came after another restaurant we wanted to try ran out of food. For a Wednesday night at around 6:30, it was moderately busy with a few families inside. Very casual and smelled good like chicken. We ordered a couple dishes and sat down to eat. 1) Lomo Saltado: 7.5/10. This was the best tasting dish we ordered. It was very savory and delicious, considering we were starving. Beef was a little on the overcooked side, and the French fries kind of reminded me of the ones you buy in the store and air fry up. Still, tasted good to us as hungry people. 2) Pollo Saltado: 7/10. Chicken was good and charred-tasting. This was much wetter than the Lomo Saltado, but flavor was still good. 3) Tallarin Saltado with Chicken: 7/10. It was a good food to share since they gave a big portion but noodles were bland in my opinion. The chicken was good again but matched with the bland noodles made for an unsatisfying bite. Overall, I would come if I were in the area and was unsure of where to eat. My sister actually liked it a lot and said she would come back again if she were craving it. I would recommend to try and see how you like it!
